We enjoyed our field trip to the Festival of Trees.




First grade had a great time at the Festival of trees!





We had “snow” much fun at the Festival of Trees! We got to read a story with Olaf and sing songs with Ana and Elsa. We also saw Mrs. Claus and Santa. We ate some cookies and explored all the beautifully decorated trees. Here is our class picture!

For Mystery Science, we had fun learning about properties of different materials. Students had the task of designing and building a hat that would protect them on a desert island.





Students enjoyed listening to celebrity readers, reading to themselves, reading to the teacher, reading to a friend, listening to Mrs. Farrell read, and eating delicious snacks with drinks during National Young Readers Day. Reading is fun!





Celebrity Readers joined us to read to students for National Young Readers Day. Bailey Bryant- WCIA News Reporter, Dave Clapp- School Board President, "Officer"Jane Cress-Crossing Guard, Aubrey Carpenter-Curriculum Coordinator, and Jim Ribbe-Youth Coach & BH Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor were our guest readers.





Kindergarteners were practicing making 6 and making 7. Students put 2 sides counters in a cup, dumped them out, and made number bonds by counting the counters!

From this site, students can read books and articles and listen to audiobooks. They can also take an AR test after they read when at school! MyOn is also an app.
