We just wrapped up an amazing day at Danville District 118’s annual First Grade Math Challenge with 11 fantastic students! 🎉 Two of our teams scored at the *Championship* level and brought home ribbons to display with pride in our school 🏅, and our third team earned a *First Place* score! So proud of these young math minds, and so thankful for the invitation from D118! 💙 Also, a big thanks to our high school judges--Kaitlyn, Cole, and Ryleigh--for going with us!

This past Wednesday, we had the incredible privilege of hosting Terrence Talley at our school! His powerful message of "Be a Hero" for our younger students and "Don't Give Up" for our older ones brought the perfect mix of laughter and heartfelt moments.
Terrence had our students and staff laughing, dancing, and most importantly—feeling *seen, loved, and valued.* ❤️ He closed each presentation with a beautiful opportunity for students and staff to connect on a deeper level, reminding us all of the strength found in kindness and community.
Thank you, Terrence, for a day we won’t forget! 💙 #BeAHero #DontGiveUp

We put our teachers to the test at our last Fuzzy Friday! With state testing starting this week, we decided to test the teachers on their Disney knowledge! Mr. Don showed us that he is the strongest in the school by ripping a phone book in half! We also acknowledged our top fundraisers for the Kids Heart Challenge.
A big shout out goes to Ms. Dawson's class for earning the Chow Hall challenge for positive lunch room behaviors and to Mrs. Warren's class and Mrs. Nixon's class for earning the Colby awards for overall behavior!

Our 4th graders have been learning about being a part of their community and playing a key role in it. They brainstormed ways to work together to give back to their community. The students decided to hold a food drive during the month of March and have donated the food to the Bismarck Blessings program. Way to go 4th graders! 💙
