Good morning We are so excited to begin day 135 of our school year. Brand-new confidence-boosting adventures are waiting this summer at Camp Invention®! Bismarck will host this innovative program from May 28th to May 31st. Students must currently be in kindergarten-5th grade but do not have to be a Bismarck student to attend. Register using SUM25 by 3/27 at invent.org/mylocalcamp to save $25. Hope to see you there!

We held our Pie the Principal event today to celebrate another amazing Kids Heart Challenge. Kids who went above and beyond participation and earned $100 or more in donations got to hit Mr. Click in the face with a pie. Members of our community joined us as well because without all of their help as well as our students' excitement, we would not have been able to raise over $11,000 this year for the American Heart Association. As part of our bowling unit in PE, we have been learning how to keep score. Third and fourth grade students are working on keeping cumulative score (including how to score strikes and spares). First and second graders are working on scoring individual frames. Kindergarten is working on their counting skills by count the number of pins they knock down! 🎳

Hey Drivers, As we navigate through busy school zones during drop off and pick up times, let's remember to prioritize the safety of our little ones. When buses are present, please yield to them courteously: 🛑 Allow buses to merge in and out of traffic safely. 🚦 Give buses plenty of space to maneuver. 👧👦 Be patient and wait for buses to load/unload children as well as cross and join traffic. 🚸 Always follow crossing guards' signals and school zone speed limits. Both arrival and dismissal causes a lot of traffic around the school, so please be patient and look out for the safety of our students and staff.
