Kindergarten students celebrated Thanksgiving with a parade to show off their costumes! These little turkeys hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! 🍁🦃





Fuzzy Friday on a Wednesday?! These students earned warm fuzzies this month! Mrs. Powell’s class earned the Colby award for best overall behavior!! 💙💙



These classes earned awards at Fuzzy Friday for morning gym behavior, lunchroom behavior, and attendance! Way to go!!!





Thank you to the high school students who came to help 4th grade with their Winter Wonderland Art Project. The students really enjoyed it!





Mrs. Farrell's class had an art lesson on line and warm & cool colors from BHRA High School Art students. We learned a lot and it was fun!




2nd grade enjoyed an art lesson taught by BHRA High school art students. Students learned about using warm and cool colors.




We had a great time at the Festival of Trees! Students were able to watch Frozen characters sing their songs, listen to Olaf’s Night Before Christmas, and look at all of the wonderful trees! 💚❤️





BHES kindergartners were visited by BHRA art students Friday. The high schoolers taught them how to draw a polar bear! This was an awesome opportunity for both sets of students and we can’t wait for them to visit us again!!!





2nd grade enjoyed listening to guest readers, read to selves,read to a partner, read to their teacher, listened to their teacher read and celebrated with tasty snacks and drinks during National Young Readers Day. What fun!





Third grade loved National Reader's Day!




National Young Readers Day was fun for 2nd Grade today. Through our Celebrity Readers we learned fire safety, had active participation, heard a story in a British accent, and witnessed American Sign Language in action. What a fun day!

Our staff was treated to a visit by national speaker and fellow Illinois teacher, Monica Genta! She encouraged us, laughed with us, and reminded us that we (and our students) are AWESOME!

Mrs. Miethe’s Class celebrated World Kindness Day this morning. The students talked about random acts of kindness they could complete throughout their school day. They drew the name of a classmate and created a kindness card to give to them. The students loved this activity!
