Bismarck Henning is excited to announce that we are bringing Camp Invention to our town the week after school is out!
When: June 1st-June 5th from 9:00-3:30 with possible extended day option from 7:30-5:00.
Where: Bismarck Henning Elementary School
Who: Incoming 1st-6th grade Bismarck-Henning and Rossville-Alvin students
Price: $210 if registered by the end of March, $235 if registered in April or May.
Why: Camp Invention® is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life. Led by local teachers, this program has tapped into kids' natural curiosity since 1990, giving them the opportunity to become innovators through teamwork and immersive, hands-on creative problem-solving.

We are looking for one additional parent volunteer to be at camp all week and assist the instructors as needed. This will allow you to send two children at a reduced rate ($105 each).
We are also looking for 7th-12th grade students that would like to be mentors to the younger students. This position will provide 40 documented community service hours to the 10th-12th grade mentors. 7th-9th grade students have a reduced registration fee but 10th-12th grade students are free.
Parents must provide transportation to and from Camp Invention for all campers and mentors. Miss Kim at BHES is working on providing lunches that week at the same price as during the school year.
We will have 2 scholarships available. If you would like your student to attend but are unable to pay the registration fee, please reach out to acarpenter@bismarck.k12.il.us.
To register your 2020-2021 1st-6th grader(s): https://invent.ungerboeck.com/prod/emc00/PublicSignIn.aspx?&SessionID=fbofc5fbmfhofdnfc1&Lang=*
A flyer with information will be coming around soon. Please be on the lookout!
