My high school track coach/history teacher because he pushed me to reach my full potential. What is your favorite activity to do outside of school? Play with my dog and go for walks. 🐶🚶‍♀️ If you weren’t doing your current job, what other job would you want to do? I would be a marine biologist and work with dolphins! 🐬 What is a fun fact about you? I discovered my love for teaching while working at a zoo! 🦓🦏🐵🐯🦒 We are so excited to have you on our team Ms. Layden! Thank goodness for that zoo that inspired you! 🥰

Exciting news! We have new scooters! Thanks to donations from our amazing BH community, our students have newer, bigger, safer scooters! These scooters all have handles (aka finger guards) and a bigger surface area to sit on! Thank you to all who donated. Our students were SO excited to use these this week! 💙

But, unknown to many, the Ms stand for Mars and Murrie, the two men that developed the candy. Rations given to soldiers during the Spanish American War inspired this candy. Traditional chocolate bars would melt before soldiers could eat them. The candy coating ensured soldiers could enjoy their chocolates in the field. Good morning We are so excited to begin day 17 of our school year. Today is Monday September 11th. Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center Buildings in New York, the Pentagon in Virginia, and the downing of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. We all at BHES are so happy to see everyone come to school each day. Myself and all the teachers care about you all and want to make every day as awesome as we can. We're here to help you have fun, to learn, and to grow. We're here to help you be safe, be healthy, and be happy Remember we will have Homecoming Dress Up days all week. You should have had flyers that went home ahead. As a reminder, today’s theme is to dress up will be “Dress in Your Country Best.” Tomorrow our theme will be Rock-a-Bye Baby so dress up in your favorite pajamas. Bismarck Blessings is having a food donation drive all week as well. Today our focus was Mac n’Cheese and tomorrows will be Poptarts.
