Tonight, two BHRA members competed in the District 4 FFA Proficiency Interview contest. Kandace Behrends competed in Swine Production Placement. Camden Carpenter competed in Food Service Entrepreneurship and WON! She is headed to the state contest on March 22nd. Wish Camden a huge congratulations!

Anatomy and Physiology students tested their reaction times today. They analyzed how their individual reaction times varied when they received visual, auditory, and tactile forms of sensory input. 👀👂🏻✋🏼

Your Blue Devil Scholastic Bowl Team placed 3rd at the VVC Tournament tonight. (They just missed the finals by 10 points, which is just 1 question, during bonus questions due to a tie). A giant CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Mikey Wease for earning All Conference and All Tournament. Wish them luck! They have the County Tournament on Saturday and Regionals on Monday.

Our mathletes didn't just sum up on Saturday—they divided and conquered! Special shoutout to the Algebra I team for placing 2nd as a team. Riker Huffman & Niko Moll led the way tying for 9th place. In Algebra II, Kaemyn Brown led the way earning 2nd place, with Hannah Evans earning 7th. These 2 helped our Algebra II team secure 2nd place. Kudos to Lukas Cothran and Mikey Wease for ranking 6th and 10th respectively in Precalc. You two are quite the pair—a prime example of excellence! The Precalc team placed 3rd. Our Calculus team, made up of Khloey Farina, Lucy Jett, Gavin High, Lukas Cothran, and Mikey Wease placed 2nd. Big thanks to our coaches, Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Russell, and Mr. Hasty, for being the acute mentors behind our success. Let's keep the momentum going and continue to multiply our achievements! We will find out if any of the members of our team advance to state on March 8th.
