🌍✨ In Mrs. Campbell's Orientation to Business class today, the students delved into the economic impact of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Through engaging presentations, they explored various companies that were affected by that tragic day. It was eye-opening to see how the consequences of 9/11 continue to shape industries and economies even today. As we reflect on this pivotal moment in history, it's essential to honor those affected and recognize the lasting impacts it has had on our world.
Never forget... Students in Mrs. Guminski's classes are participating in the 9/11 Memorial Museum's Digital Interactive Experience. Students are viewing the short film and exploring the museum's collection. They can also live chat with museum staff about the museum and the items housed in its collection.
🔥 Shoutout to Gabe Rand for going above and beyond with this incredible drawing he completed during Mrs. Moulton's illustration activity in English 3. His artwork perfectly captures the intensity and themes of the novel, Fahrenheit 451. Amazing work, Gabe! 🔥📚🎨
🎓 Our seniors made the most of a great opportunity this week! They attended the College Fair at DACC where they connected with admission reps from over 40 colleges and universities. Later, many continued the conversation by meeting with the EIU rep back at school.
