Due to the severe storms that impacted the Kankakee area yesterday, today’s softball game has been cancelled. A rescheduled date has not yet been determined.
Please keep Bishop McNamara Catholic High School and the entire Kankakee community in your thoughts.

Yesterday, BHRA students attended the Youth Leadership Conference hosted by the Schlarman High School Future Problem Solvers.
Throughout the day, students focused on ways to help prevent gun violence and explored how young people can make a meaningful impact in their communities. They had the opportunity to meet with community leaders representing first responders, education, and healthcare, learning about the many ways different professions work together to support a safer community.
Students also had the chance to speak directly with several local political leaders, sharing ideas and discussing ways Vermilion County youth can get involved and help create positive change in our communities.
We’re proud of these students for representing BHRA and for their willingness to engage in important conversations that impact our community! 💙👏

Our thoughts and prayers are with the student’s family and the communities of Chrisman and Georgetown-Ridge Farm during this incredibly difficult time.
