On Tuesday, Oct. 21st, students from Mrs. Guminski's Civics class toured the Vermilion County Administration Building. Their tour began in the Vermilion County Clerk's Office, where County Clerk Robyn Heffern and her staff explained to the students the work they do in preparing for elections as wells as what a typical election day looks like in their office. Students had the opportunity to register to vote and apply to be election judges. Thank you to Robyn and her staff for hosting us!

BHRA's Medieval Weapons Museum - Students in Mrs. Guminski's World History classes capped off their unit on the Middle Ages by researching weapons of the time period and recreating them. They created informative placards and set up their museum in the Wilcox Lobby. Ten projects were sleected for an Administrator's Award for creativity and craftsmanship. Congratulations to all students for submitting amazing projects!

Who knew anatomy could be this sweet? 🍰 Students made edible skin models for extra credit — marshmallows = adipose tissue, sour punch straws = blood vessels, and lots of creativity in between!
The BHRA Student council enjoyed hosting the alumni from the Rossville-Alvin and Bismarck-Henning Classes of 1975 as part of our homecoming festivities.
