BHJH 8th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Khloey Farina. Khloey is a hard worker. She always wants to do the best she can and won’t settle for less. She asks questions when she is uncertain. She is always prepared for classes, and her work is always completed on time. If she doesn’t know ahead of time of an absence, she always asks for makeup work immediately upon returning. She is responsible and gets make-up work submitted in a timely manner.

What a great morning celebrating Amelia Cole and Joshua Pickett. They were nominated for the Vermilion County Principals Outstanding Student Award by their teachers, and I can't think of two more deserving students. We had a great time honoring them at the VC banquet followed by a lunch with the Elementary and HS recipients. Way to go! I can't wait to see all you accomplish

It's Camp Invention month!! We can't wait to end the school year celebrating together while we build, invent, create, and learn. The code FUN15 expires on 5/15, so don't delay! Camp alumni can use the code ALUMNI35 to save $35, and siblings can use the code SIBLOV30 to save $30 off of one additional sibling and SIBLOV40 to save $40 off the cost of another sibling. If you've been waiting to sign up, please do so soon so that we can add another instructor. We are close to our next goal! Check out the video to get a glimpse into Camp this year: https://youtu.be/HaOjSV45yTw

Phones Down
With the amount of rain this weekend and what we have already this morning, we are going to make an adjustment to the meet today. It looks like it will clear up for the most part for the rest of the day. Today's meet will be running events ONLY. We will not be able to throw or jump due to the wet conditions of the grass which will allow runners to focus on their running events.
