It's Camp Invention month!! We can't wait to end the school year celebrating together while we build, invent, create, and learn. The code FUN15 expires on 5/15, so don't delay! Camp alumni can use the code ALUMNI35 to save $35, and siblings can use the code SIBLOV30 to save $30 off of one additional sibling and SIBLOV40 to save $40 off the cost of another sibling. If you've been waiting to sign up, please do so soon so that we can add another instructor. We are close to our next goal!

BHJH would like to give a HUGE shout out to the very talented and artistic senior Madeline Thorlton. Madeline has put in countless hours working on this AWESOME mural in the BHJH entry way! We cannot thank you enough for your dedication, Madeline !

BHES/BHJH/BHRA Phone lines are not working this morning. Please email your building with any questions or call-ins until we get things worked out.

With the amount of rain this weekend and what we have already this morning, we are going to make an adjustment to the meet today.
It looks like it will clear up for the most part for the rest of the day.
Today's meet will be running events ONLY.
We will not be able to throw or jump due to the wet conditions of the grass which will allow runners to focus on their running events.

BHJH is planning to celebrate our teachers & staff throughout Teacher Appreciation Week. You can help us by "shouting-out" a teacher or staff member in our building. Please take a minute and fill out this form. Thanks for your time and help!!

BHJH 8th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month Lillian Seabaugh.
Lily is a joy to be around. She is becoming more confident in herself in the classroom and, as a result, in participating more. She only wants to do well in the classroom. She isn’t satisfied with knowing an answer, she wants to know why the answer is correct. Lily is always prepared for classes and is willing to run errands and help out when she can.

BHJH 7th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Drew Dubois.
Drew is a friend to everyone at school. He tries his very best in every class he is in and is always a hard worker. He displays a level of kindness to all his peers that you don’t often see in Jr. High.

BHJH 6th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Brently Brown.
Brently is an outstanding student. He is so kind and respectful to adults and his peers. Brently works hard on everything he does and it shows in his grades. He is always the first to volunteer and participates in every class. Keep working hard, Brently!

BHJH 5th Grade McDonald’s Student of the Month is Judah Chappell.
Judah participates in class, is kind to others, and is a trustworthy student. He asks for clarification and puts in 100% effort on all his work. Judah has shown how organized and responsible he is this school year. We are proud of you Judah!

Art Club after school is cancelled for today.

Your JV (5th/6th) Scholastic Bowl Team ended their regular season at 8-1 with a hard fought 150-160 loss to Westville, who they beat earlier in the season. If you have not been able to watch these boys compete, this week will be your last chance! County Scholastic Bowl will be held at BHJH on Wednesday, 4/17, starting at 4:00pm. Good luck, boys!

The track meet for tonight ( April 11th ) has been cancelled.
There will be NO track practice.
