Meet Ashley Dukes Hometown: Rossville, IL Who was one of your favorite teachers growing up and why? My favorite teacher was Mrs. Stimac, my 4th grade teacher. She would read the Wayside School stories to my class and changed her voice for each character. What is your favorite activity to do outside of school? I like to take my 1949 Dodge Coronet to car shows with my family. 🚗🚘🚦 If you weren’t doing your current job, what other job would you want to do? I would be a secretary or assistant for someone important like a mayor or lawyer. 📝💼 What is a fun fact about you? Thank you everyone for attending our 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat last night. We had a great turn out even with the rainy conditions. Thank yous also go out to Ridgeview Baptist Church, the Bismarck Fire Department, the Bismarck Women's Club, the Bismarck Men's Club, our local Cub Scouts troop, our local Girl Scouts troop, our BHES Parent's Club, the Bismarck Lions Club, and the BHES Staff for their involvement through either decorating a trunk or making a donation. We are so glad we get to hold an event such as this for our incredible community.

We are still planning to hold our Trunk-or-Treat this evening at 5:30. The radar indicates that the rain should clear up by the time we begin handing out candy. If the rain continues, we will be bringing the festivities into our gymnasium. If we are indoors, we will use the east doors by our cafeteria to enter the Trunk-or-Treat.

Meet Kim Fox Hometown: Bismarck, IL Who was one of your favorite teachers growing up and why? My favorite teacher was Miss Lawson. She was my 6th grade teacher. Miss Lawson made learning fun and I always enjoyed her class. I always felt she cared about me and my other classmates. I could tell her anything. What is your favorite activity to do outside of school? I enjoy reading a good book 📚, taking road trips🚙 , and camping🔥 . If you weren’t doing your current job, what other job would you want to do? Nursing. Nursing has always been a passion of mine. One of these days I hope to become a nurse. 🩺 What is a fun fact about you? I have 3 dogs: Coffee, Sadie, and Honey.🐶🐶🐶 My favorite meal is roast and potatoes!🥩🥔 Finally, I have a son that is 6’1” and I have to reach up to hug him!🤗 Whether you call her Miss Kim or Mrs. Fox, whether she is in the cafeteria or the library, this lady is a treasure!
