Good morning We are so excited to begin day 89 of our school year. Today is Tuesday January 16th Today is an e-learning day because of the extremely cold temperatures. Teachers have sent out reminders of their expectations for work today, please check ClassDojo and your child’s take home folder for students need to complete for learning today. As a reminder we utilize E-learning days for inclement weather events and it helps us avoid making up a day later in the summer. When we mark a day as E-learning, TeacherEase automatically sets up a check-in process for attendance. When you log into TeacherEase, it will prompt you to check in your students to mark them present today. Teachers will also utilize attendance questions and choice boards to help us make our attendance as accurate as we can. In Japan, some people believe that eating ice cream for breakfast makes you smarter. If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. (A ClassDojo message is not enough since those sometimes go unread until later in the day). If your student will having any changes in their normal routine (leaving early, dismissal changes, etc.) please send a note to give to the teacher. This is an extremely important step to ensure we get out students where they need to be and to keep them safe.
