Honors English III had the pleasure of hosting senior Alexis White today! Alexis spoke about her gothic literature short story, “Lilianna,” and gave us insight into her writing process. Alexis inspired the juniors to write creatively, and she shared some wisdom with us - know your characters, and you’ll know your story. What an awesome opportunity to learn from one of our own!

Gabe was flying today! Congratulations to our two cross country runners who competed at the state meet today! Eli Mojonnier ran well finishing 122nd. Gabe Martinez ran his best time of the year finishing as an all-stater in 12th place!




The football game did not end the way we wanted in a loss to Nashville but this team and these seniors have accomplished much in their careers. Thanks guys!

Agricultural Science had the opportunity to tour Ludwig Creamery this morning! They got up close and personal with some cows and watch how fresh mozzarella is pulled. We even got to sample some!





Student Council is holding their annual food drive. The food is used for Thanksgiving food baskets for families in our district.
We'd love for this to be a record breaking year! Please bring food donations of canned vegetables, boxed stuffing mixes, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, egg noodles, chicken broth, and cake/brownie mixes to the playoff game on Saturday at 2pm. Boxes will be located at the gates for you to drop your donations in. Any monetary donations will be used to purchase turkeys, fruit and rolls.
Let's support our community while cheering our Blue Devils to VICTORY! Thank you for helping us make this the most successful year yet!


The fall athletic banquet will be held Thurs, Nov 14th at 6:30pm in the MPR. Awards will be given for football, volleyball, cross-country, golf, and soccer. Cheerleaders & Devilettes will be recognized.
Dessert will follow the awards. Please bring a dessert to share. Table service and drinks will be provided.

Talen and the rest of the Blue Devils are gearing up for round 2 vs another 9-1 team- Nashville.


Student Council is hosting a food drive all week! The food is used for families in the BHRA district. All canned and non-perishable food items are being collected. Students - drop food off to class sponsors to count for donuts! Public is welcome to drop food off in the HS office.


Congratulations to the Cross Country runners for their awesome race in the freezing cold on Saturday. Gabe Martinez and Eli Mojonnier placed 9th and 17th respectively and will be advancing to State next weekend in Peoria.


Honoring senior State Golf qualifiers! Allison Tucker golfed well in her State experience. Kevin Clapp advanced to the Championship round placing 34th. This is the highest finish for all area golfers this year. These seniors will be missed!
