In Sunday’s News-Gazette

Girls All-County and All-Vermilion Valley Conference selections have been published. That’s a strong group from BHRA! Congratulations ladies!


Playing the games the right way!
Congratulations to BHRA boys and girls basketball teams for winning the Vermilion County John Dickson Sportsmanship Award. Emily Meidel won the individual award for the girls. Well done players, coaches, and fans!

All extra-curricular activities (practices & games) are suspended until further notice. This includes Cheer & Devilettes tryouts. Stay tuned for more information.

Due to the Governor's rulings - BHRA/BHJH/BHES will be closed until Mon, March 30th. Staff should report Monday from 8-1.
Students can come access lockers from 8-1 Mon to grab any books or items needed during this shutdown.
More information will be released as it's available.

The Academic Challenge team competed at EIU on Thursday. Kevin Clapp took home the second place medal in the Computer Science competition.

Students in Foods and Nutrition classes practiced their culinary skills while baking and decorating cakes for the Bismarck-Henning Junior High Fun Night cake walk. Unfortunately, the Fun Night is cancelled. However, you are still in luck and can purchase a cake on the Bismarck-Henning Junior High Booster Club page.
Schedule change for next week on Thursday (3/19).
Thursday (3/19) will be a Teacher’s Institute from 8am – 1pm. Students will not be in attendance. This will give the teachers a full day to work on E-Learning.
