Welcome Mrs. Amy Jameson to the Blue Devil family! Amy is our new office clerk. Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Trevan, for 14 years. They have 2 daughters, Elle & Haley. She is very family oriented and loves the outdoors, especially camping and kayaking. They enjoy watching their kids play sports, and boy do they keep them busy with it! Welcome Amy!

Welcome to BHRA, Mr. Murad Abbed! Murad will be a Strength & Conditioning and Health teacher. He is also a new assistant coach for the football team. (He's already an assistant on boys basketball). Murad graduated from BHHS is 2008. While earning a degree in Exercise Science at Eurkea College (2013) he played football and basketball. He completed his Masters Degrees in Sports Administration (EIU 2016) and Physical Education (Taylor University 2019). Murad has spent the last 5 years at BHES. His favorite things to do are watching his kids play their sports, attending college/pro sporting events, doing yard work, and enjoying any down time he can get. We're so excited to have you at the high school, Mr. Abbed!

BHRA is excited to welcome Mr. Peyton Taylor to the Blue Devil Family! Peyton graduated in 2018 from Mount Pulaski High School. He recently graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a degree in Mathematics. While at SIU-C he was a thrower on their track team. He loves basketball, golf, and fishing. He's excited to be a Blue Devil. Welcome Peyton! We're so happy you're joining us!

BHRA is excited to welcome Mrs. Kaylee Leigh back to the Blue Devil family! Kaylee graduated from BHHS in 2015. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2019 with a degree in Secondary Science Education. Kaylee has taught science at Westville High School for the last 3.5 years. She married her high school sweetheart, Bradley. In February they welcomed their first son, Kace. In Kaylee's free time she loves to spend time with her family and her 2 dogs. She's excited to come back 'home' and be a Blue Devil again! Welcome back Kaylee!

Today marks the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, which gives female athletes the same rights as male athletes. The perfect representation of what Title IX set out to do has shown through the career of BHRA coach Susan Kentner. She has been impacting Blue Devil athletes since 1990. Coach K has coached Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball, and Cross Country at BHRA. Since she began coaching, she has empowered her athletes not only on the playing field, on the court, and on the track, but also in their lives. She brings an unmatched amount of energy and positivity to every practice and game. Coach Kentner's family-type atmosphere has brought her numerous championships during her career and still has more to come! Thank you, Coach Kentner for all you have done for Blue Devil Athletes! **Alumni Spotlight** Hello, my name is Klayton Finley and I am a graduate of BHHS class of 2006. After graduating from BHHS, I furthered my education at DACC for 2 years and went on to finish up 3 years of schooling at Illinois State University, with a double major in accounting and finance, graduating in May 2011. I chose to pursue a career in accounting and sat for and passed the 4 parts of the CPA exam by Spring 2012. I first entered the workforce with Daughetee & Parks Accounting in Danville, then moved on to Farm Business Farm Management in 2013. I worked there until Longview Bank & Trust recruited me to become Vice President/Ag Loan Officer in 2018. I get the pleasure of working with farmers all throughout the area as well as farming around 600 acres on the side. I currently reside just outside of Bismarck with my wife, Chelsee and two daughters, Brooklyn & Blair, who keep me busy coaching youth sports. I am forever grateful for my time spent at BHHS and all the teachers and staff that had an impact on the trajectory of my life. ------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Klayton! The student coucil enjoyed helping the Newell Township Historical Society with their annual Ice Cream Social. The pies and ice cream were delicious!

USMC Sergeant Ryan S. House led our BHRA athletes through an awesome workout focusing on team builing, strategy, and battling through adversity! The boys had a blast. We appreciate you!
