A message from Officer Damilano Hello everyone! August is National Back to School Safety Month! We are so happy to see the kiddos for the 24-25 school year. I wanted to remind parents and students of some ways to help be safe. * Walk on the sidewalk where there is one, if not walk facing the traffic as close to the side of the road as possible. * When crossing the street, stop-look left, right and left again. Make contact with drivers before crossing! * Ride your bicycle on the right side with traffic, stay alert and walk bikes across streets. * Stay seated when on the bus and always listen to the bus driver! * When driving through school zones, obey posted speed limits and make eye contact with children who are walking in the area. * When driving in school parking lots, go slow and pay attention!!
