Alumni Spotlight: Chad Hearnley, BHHS Class of 1995 and Maridith Hearnley, BHHS Class of 1998 Chad and Maridith Hearnley are graduates of Bismarck-Henning High School. They have a daughter, Raylynn Hearnley who is a 7th grader and athlete at Bismarck-Henning Junior High. Chad attended Danville Area Community College (DACC) and Eastern Illinois University. Maridith attended DACC and Illinois State University. Chad currently is the Quality Lab Manager for Chevron and Maridith is the Interim Chief, Medical Administration Service for VA Illiana Health Care System. Community service is important to the Hearnley family as they are active members within the Bismarck community. Chad has served on various committees to include the Bismarck Mens Club and a former member of Bismarck Blessings. He was a volunteer coach for the Bismarck youth basketball program and continues to coach Bismarck youth softball. Maridith served many years as the BHRA high school assistant dance coach and currently serves on the Bismarck Henning CUSD #1 School Board and the BHRA Cooperative School Board. Raylynn has volunteered at the annual Easter Egg hunt and served at the Lion’s Club Pancake day with student council. Together, the Hearnley family loves giving to others and helping to bring the community together to make Bismarck better today and for the future.

Blue Devil Baseball has advanced to the Regional Championship! BHRA defeated St. Joseph-Ogden tonight and will play the winner of Oakwood and Westville. They will play on Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph. Great job, Blue Devils!
