We had a familiar face come with the Air Force Recruiter today, Class of 2018 Alumni Devan Goldi-Wasson. Welcome back Devan!

The Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Post Prom Committee is planning a Post Prom party for our juniors, seniors, and their dates on Saturday, April 27, 2019, after the Prom.
The group’s main objective is to put on an event that will be fun and exciting for our students, but at the same time give them a safe environment to enjoy themselves. Our group cannot possibly undertake such a plan without the generous help of our local businesses and Blue Devil supporters.
If you or your business would be willing to assist us in making this Prom night unforgettable, we are looking for prizes or monetary donations. These can be dropped off to the high school office or sent to:

Spring sports have begun! Baseball dropped the season opener to Champaign Central yesterday afternoon 3-1. Their home opener is today vs STM at 4:30 at Bismarck.

BHRA, BHJH, and BHES are teaming up to help collect coins for The Dwelling Place! We need your help to meet our goal of 69,900 cents! The Dwelling Place is a hygiene and household pantry that provides free products to those in need throughout Vermilion County. Please help us!

The BHRA FFA had their banquet last night. Our officers did a great job running the event. It’s great having this program up and running. The results are already showing! Congrats to all.

Devilette Tryouts! Open to anyone who will be a 9th-12th grade student at BHRA next school year.

BHRA is excited to welcome Laurel Soderstrom-Davis as the Devilettes Coach for the 2019-20 school year!
Laurel Soderstrom-Davis has been teaching dance for over 38 years and has owned the Laurel School of Dance for 27 years. She is a Master Dance Educator and has studied dance with master dance teachers in Chicago, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, and New York City.
Laurel has certificates for Professional Development in Applied Dance education from both Northwestern University and Illinois State University.
She is excited for this opportunity to coach the Devilettes and be part of this amazing school.
She looks forward to a great new season ahead.

Congratulations to the Varsity Scholastic Bowl Team! They won County last night! Jett Villanueva and Anthony Jordan were awarded All County Honors. Jett was named the tournament MVP.

The baseball team is selling BHRA tumblers. If you'd like to order, see a baseball player. If you don't know a baseball player you can drop your order and money off to the high school office by Tuesday, March 5.
BHRA had a rockin' good time celebrating Mr. Schroeder's birthday on Wednesday. Staff dressed in band shirts, and the students enjoyed listening to Mr. Schroeder's favorite group, The Beatles, during passing periods.
