• The following students were nominated for October's Student of the Month: Alexis Ball, Audrey Taylor, Destinee Goble, Ethan Tutweiler, Hayden Rice, Jacob Mockbee, Kelsey LeBeane, Melaina Beckner, Morgan Miller, Olivia Omundson, Parker Stonecipher, Samantha Swift, and Taylor Lowe. Congratulations to.....Olivia Omundson.  Her merit, attitude, and persona have earned her this reward.

• Congratulations to our chess team for beating La Salette tonight in game 2! Michael Wall had 2 wins on JV and Jenna Dishman had 1. Congratulations to them! On varsity we had wins from Tyson Reining, Dyani Boyer and Dalton Hagley. Evan Maxwell won both his matches, with him and Dalton having back to back come back matches to win the match.

• It’s not too late to order a 2020-21 yearbook.  You can send a check to school for $60 or order online here.

• Picture retakes day is RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, November 11th.  If you’d like to order, go to inter-state.com/order -- the code for 10/27 is 54582QA.  If you have not had your picture taken, and are not under quarantine, please make plans to come this day.  There are a few order forms on the table outside the office.

• Extra 2019-2020 yearbooks are available for $60.00.

Juniors & Seniors

• SAT make-up date is Tuesday Oct. 27, PSAT/NMSQT make-up date is Thursday Oct. 29th. Tests will start at 8:15.

• SIUC is making waiving their application fee until October 31st – apply at https://admissions.siu.edu/apply/
