  • Anyone interested in the Spring Musical – please meet in the cafeteria on Friday during advisory.

  • BHRA Students: Please fill out this survey for the school newspaper about New Year’s resolutions.

  • The girls track team workouts resume this week today from 3 to 4:15... look for a team track meeting for girls sometime next week, information will come soon.

  • Softball open gyms begin this Sunday from 4:30-6. Anyone who is interested in playing softball can attend. Our group can be joined as well by downloading the TeamReach App and using code DevilsSB24.

  • Congratulations Emma Pasquale!  You are the January student of the month.  She was chosen because of her strong academic habits and bubbly personality.  Other nominees this month were: Lillie Trimble, Jordyn Rutan, Gideon Kruse, Alyssa Reifsteck, Andjy Louis, Ella Acton, Trent Adam, Connor Powell, and Gavin High.

  • Reminder for seniors and parents - FAFSA Completion Workshop this Thursday, January 11th from 5:30-7:00 in the library. Students and parents will need their financial information from 2022 including 1040s, W2's and records of investments, and a list of schools the student would like to attend. FSA ID for both students and parents should be created ahead of time so that you can complete the form that night. If the FSA ID has not yet been created, you will need their social security numbers as well. See instructions at Steps to Complete the FAFSA Form

  • Mark your calendars for the Spring Musical!  March 15th - March 17th.  More info coming soon!

  • Future Educator Scholarship Meeting - If you are interested in attending college to become an educator, this meeting is for you and your parents!

    • 1/25/24 @ 6:00pm @ BHRA 

  • The Basketball Vermilion County Tournament begins FRIDAY at DACC’S Mary Miller Gymnasium.  You can find the schedule here.  You can purchase tickets online ahead of time or pay at the door.  You can order team pictures here!  Go Blue Devils!!!

  • Come out and cheer on your Lady Blue Devil CHEERLEADERS as they defend their championship!  Saturday morning, 1/13/24 @ DACC’s Mary Miller Gymnasium.  Doors open at 9:00am and the competition begins at 10:00am.  Wear blue, be there, and cheer loud for the ladies!

  • No School - Monday, January 15th, 2024

  • Winter Athletic Banquet - March 7th, 2024 @ 6:30pm in the Wilcox Gymnasium.

  • Jessica from Jostens will be here on Monday, January 22nd for announcements & cap & gown delivery.  She will set up in the Commons.

  • BHRA Cancer Night shirts are on sale now!  Orders due Thursday, 1/11/24.  Forms available on the table outside the office or print it out here.

  • Mark your calendar for the Inaugural FFA Auction - sponsored by the BHRA FFA Alumni & Supporters group.  See here for the flyer.  If you’d like to donate an item for the auction, you can reach out to Jennifer Heidrick at jeheidrick@bismarck.k12.il.us.

  • The 5th Annual Farm Toy Show will be held in the Wilcox Gym on Sunday, January 28th.  Pedal Tractor pull for kids 9 and under starts at 1pm.  If you’d like to be a sponsor or vendor, please reach out to Jennifer Heidrick at jeheidrick@bismarck.k12.il.us.  Proceeds benefit the BHRA FFA Program.

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  You must call each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  

  • Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $35.  Cases are $20 new and $10 used.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.
