Sports physicals will be in the MPR from 8:30-11:00AM on Thursday May 26. Eligible students are those who will be in grades 5-12 next Fall and plan to participate in a school sport (if you are going into the 6th grade or 9th grade, you are required to have a full school physical, which also fulfills the sports physical requirement). If you would like your student to participate, the forms are located on the table outside the high school office or may be printed here: https://5il.co/19vty. Forms must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian and returned to school with a check to Carle for $15 (students should bring them to the physical with them). Students will not be seen by our providers unless the physical form is complete and signed. https://5il.co/19vty

Attention 4th grade parents! When your student reaches 5th grade, they choose to participate in band or chorus. If your student is choosing band, then this is for you! Tonight from 6pm-8pm in the high school cafeteria, The Music Shoppe will be here with a variety of band instruments available to try out. Your interested band student will be able to play each instrument in hopes of making a choice for next year. Rental arrangements can be made on the spot if you choose to do so. This is open house style, so come visit at some point between 6 and 8. See you there.

5/2/22 8th grade student of the week is Dayton Garrett. Dayton is an awesome kid. He’s done an outstanding job in my room all year. Dayton has been dealt some tough breaks, but I’ve never heard him complain, or even seem like he’s down. He always seems upbeat no matter the circumstances. Dayton is also my first 8th grade student to complete 100% of Khan Academy! Keep up the great work, Dayton!

5/2/22 7th grade student of the week is Blaike Monson. Blaike has done excellent work this quarter and looks like she’s on her way to the High Honor Roll. Besides being a good student, Blaike is very pleasant to have in the classroom. I can always depend on her to answer questions, and she’s not afraid to make a mistake, or even laugh at herself because of it! Congrats on the award, Blaike!
