6th Grade Student of the Week
Tinley Siddens
Tinley is a great student who works hard and always participates. She is really good at sharing and making connections to other students' shares to add excitement to the conversation. I can always count on Tinley to raise her hand and be present in all classroom discussions.
For anyone interested in Art Club there is a sign up sheet on the table in the foyer. An informational meeting with the 7/8 students during their Eagle Period this Thursday, September 1st in the Library.
The 5/6 grade informational meeting will be the first 10 minutes of their PE class on Thursday, September 1st .
The middle school students will soon have the opportunity to design a Bismarck Eagles shirt for the middle schoolers, staff, and Eagle supporters. Each student is going to receive a shirt template. They may use any medium to design the shirt as long as it is their work. A local T-shirt company will transform the student's design into wearable art.
Friday- Fire Drill 9am
If you are interested in 7th/8th Grade Girls basketball, there will be an informational meeting in Mrs. Brumetts room during the Eagle Period TODAY .
Kona Ice will be at BHJH Friday September 2nd for Eagle Hour !! 20 % of all sales go back to the school.

Our schools have partnered with Smile Illinois, the mobile dentists, to offer in-school dental care. You may sign your child up today at www.MySchoolDentist.com or complete the attached form and return to school. Insurance is accepted, including Medicaid. For those without insurance, a self-pay option is available.
We are scheduled for September 15 & 16, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.
Dental Exams and proof submitted are a requirement for all Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th and 9th grade students. You may choose to have the examination done by your family dentist, or to have the examination completed by Mobile Dentists. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Kelly at 217.759.7291.
- We are accepting results from COVID home tests. Students sent home from school for symptoms of COVID must bring the negative test result into school when returning. If using a commercial/medical testing center results must be provided electronically, by fax, email or on paper. Students may not return to school without proof of a negative test. Nurse Kelly has a limited supply of home COVID tests available if needed.
