Student of the Week
7th Grade- Annistyn Thomas- Annistyn has started to show leadership qualities in the classroom. Just recently, she helped another student who was struggling to learn a new skill concept by demonstrating it step by step. She then encouraged them to continue to be successful by cheering them on. Keep up the good work!
8th Grade –Eva Ronto- Eva has been willing to jump in and help with anything that is going on in class. She comes to class ready and eager to learn the activity for that day. She is willing to work with any student, is kind, and has a positive attitude. No matter what we are learning in class that day, she finds a way to enjoy it causing her positivity to spread throughout the class. She is a joy to have in class.

Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:
Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, Shortness of breath, NEW cough
Sore throat, Vomiting, Diarrhea, NEW loss of sense of taste or smell, Fatigue from unknown cause, Muscle or body aches from unknown cause
Positive cases- 5 day isolation
Exposed/same household – if they can isolate from positive case they can return in 5 days
If they cannot isolate from positive case they can return in 10 days
If they are vaccinated, they do not have to quarantine at all
Testing is still required when we send a student home with potential covid symptoms When testing to return to school, only PCR tests are accepted. Rapid (antigen tests) are not valid.
