7th Grade- Raylynn Hearnley
Raylynn works hard and is committed to doing her best. She is kind and helpful to everyone in the classroom. She shows respect for teachers and peers and is responsible to do what she is asked to do. Thank you for teaching an art class how to make paper roses. Your kind and thoughtful actions do not go unnoticed. Keep up the good work.
8th- Annistyn Thomas
Annistyn exhibits a positive outlook and attitude in the classroom. She displays good citizenship by assisting other students. Anna helps out in class and even volunteered to help teach one class period. She exceeds expectations with the quality of her work and is a joy to have in class. Keep up the good work !
Any 8th Grader- Devilette Dance open practices on 3/1 & 3/8 from 5:15pm-6:15pm in the MPR for anyone who is interested in trying out next year.
Addie Kruse and Jaxen Moulton were selected for the Illinois Principal Association Outstanding Student Award. They were nominated by their teachers and selected by Ms. Prunkard to represent BHJH and attend a recognition ceremony at Bremer Auditorium at DACC.

We are accepting results from COVID home tests. Students sent home from school for symptoms of COVID must bring the negative test result into school when returning. If using a commercial/medical testing center results must be provided electronically, by fax, email or on paper. Students may not return to school without proof of a negative test. Nurse Kelly has a limited supply of home COVID tests available if needed.
