  • Cancer Week!  February 6th - 10th - Proceeds to Danville’s OSF Cancer Center

      • Tuesday - ‘Put Cancer to Bed’ - Wear your PJs

      • Wednesday ‘Fight Cancer Day’ - Dress up as your favorite superhero

      • Thursday ‘Put a Cap on Cancer’ - For a $1 donation - wear a hat day

      • Friday ‘Wear Pink’ - Wear any cancer shirt

    • Bring your loose change and donate it to Danville’s OSF Cancer Center to see Taylor Pattison, Tyson Reining, Isaiah Tidwell, Murphy McCool, Chaz Dubois, and Jeff Hickman lose their luscious locks after the boys’ varsity game next Friday night (2/10).

    • Bake sale Wednesday 2/8 & Thursday 2/9 during lunches.  $1 each item.  (We would love for anyone and everyone to donate baked goods for the bake sale!)

  • Congratulations to the Varsity scholastic for beating out Chrisman and Milford!

  • Softball open gym Sunday, 2/5 from 3-4:30pm.

  • Mark your calendars for Legally Blonde Jr, the musical.  Showtimes are Feb 25th at 7pm & Feb 26th at 2pm.

  • Interested in a future in Education? Mr. Campbell will be in the commons at 7:45 AM on February 9th to meet with any students who are interested in hearing more information on becoming a teacher. Donuts and Juice will be provided.

  • Winter Athletic Banquet - Date changed to March 9th at 6:30pm in the MPR.

  • The DACC Health Occupations Program and VVEDS would like to invite you to Our Health Professions Day on the Danville campus of DACC.  The event will be February 10th from 9:30-11AM in the Mary Miller Complex.  The event is targeted for High School Juniors and Seniors. Each school may bring up to 20 students.  Each school group will go through 8, 10-minute presentations together guided by DACC Rad-Tech students.  Please complete this permission slip and return to Mrs. Stephens if you are planning to attend.  Programs presenting currently (subject to change) are: 

    • Health Information Technology

    • Sonography

    • Rad tech

    • Nursing

    • CMA

    • Anatomage (cadaver table)

    • Echocardiography

    • EMT

  • Juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT this fall – please see the email from Mrs. Stephens and sign up for a time slot to go over your scores.

  • Drivers - Please make sure you are parked in your correct spot with your parking pass visible.  Mr. Benjamin is still doing random checks and will be issuing discipline.   Don’t forget that driving is a privilege that can be revoked.

  • Order your yearbook here or you may send a check/cash for $60 to BHRA to Mrs. Stephens.

  • Students may not get any extra milk until everyone has been through the lunch line.

  • If your family eats Pringles – please send the empty tubes into Mrs. Tidwell.  THANK YOU!

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  

  • Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $35.  Cases are $20 new and $10 used.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.
