Make plans to attend Landon Potter Night at Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow. A portion of $$ from all food purchased from 5pm-8pm will be donated to St. Jude’s in Landon’s name. There is also a LIVE auction, silent auction, hair tinseling, music, 50/50, and bake sale happening. All proceeds from these events will go to St. Jude’s in Landon’s name.
Congratulations to the soccer team for their win over Iroquois West last night with a score of 4-3. Trystan Turner had 2 goals, Murphy McCool had 1 goal, and Hayden Rice had 1 goal and 1 assist. Way to go!
All freshmen will meet in the MPR during advisory period on Tuesday, August 30.We will be electing class officers and discussing our homecoming float theme. Freshmen: Please report to your advisory class for attendance and then head to the MPR.
ISAC will be here to meet with Seniors for College 101 on Tuesday, September 13th. Students with early release and 8th hour study hall will attend from 1:30pm-2:00pm, and Seniors in Mr. Abbed’s advisory period will attend from 2:20pm-2:40pm.
Only one milk comes with lunch. Additional milks are $0.50. In order to purchase an additional milk, a positive amount must be on account to purchase that additional milk.
BHRA Softball members from last year or those interested in trying out this year have an opportunity to volunteer for a great cause. The Chris Oberheim Memorial Softball Game is being held Saturday, September 17th at Danville Stadium. This is a fundraising benefit for Peacemaker Project 703 with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Survivor Resource Center. Softball players, please contact Coach McCord or Coach Andrews if you are interested in helping out at the stadium that day. Your time will consist of helping with food, tickets, and door prizes.
Patriot Day at BHRA is coming on September 23rd, 2022! We are excited to be teaming up with the Oakwood Comets to raise money for Operation Honor Guard. Shirts are on sale now! Wear your shirt to the game and get in free! Order online – Print order form. Orders due August 31st.
Chess meeting Thursday 8/25 during advisory period in the library - make sure you check in with your advisory period before going to the meeting!
Lunch money: If you need to put lunch money on your student’s account, you can pay by credit card through TeacherEase OR send cash or check (made out to BHCUSD) to school – there are envelopes outside of the office - write their name on it and drop it in the lunch box outside the office door.
*NEW INFORMATION* The Devilettes have room on their squad for YOU! If you missed tryouts and are interested in being a Devilette, please contact Coach Jessica at 217-918-8484. They are holding another set of tryouts on Thursday 8/25 from 4:30-6pm. All they need to bring is this tryout form. If you cannot make it at that time or would like more information, please reach out to Coach Jessica.
Jessica from Josten’s will be here to meet with Sophomores & Seniors on Wednesday, August 31. Seniors will meet at 7:30am in the cafeteria - sophomores will meet during their advisory period in the cafeteria. She will return on Wednesday, September 7th and set up in the Commons to collect orders. Please let Jenny know if you have any questions.

Reminder! If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know. Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent. (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).
Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms: Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause. If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.
Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office. Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25. Cases are $20 new and $10 used.
