Dress Up Day Friday:  Represent your favorite sports team!!!

  • Come out and support the volleyball team as they take on Paris, tonight @ home. The theme is Hawaiian/ Beach. JV starts at 6 and Varsity will follow.

  • Sophomores – if you did not order a class color Homecoming shirt for next week and would like one, please let Mrs. Stephens know before the end of school Wednesday. There are a few extras available - $10 each.

  • Blue Devils golf represented our area well on Saturday at the Paris Invitational. Finishing with a total of 389, the Blue Devils came out as the top VVC team. Individual scores were Leighton Meeker (89), Cooper Carpenter (96), Nick Garmon (100), Tyson Smith (104), Ayden Golden (107), & Colin Deck (119).

  • The Blue Devils golf team played their best 9-hole round of the season defeating Oakwood & Westville. BHRA totaled a score of 177 with Leighton Meeker & Nick Garmon sharing medalist honors with a score of 40. Other Blue Devils scores were Tyson Smith (47), Cooper Carpenter (50), Colin Deck (52), & Jordan Johnson (54).  The Blue Devils look to defend their VVC title this Thursday at Harrison Park.

  • Homecoming Dress Up Days!!

    • Mon 9/27 - Rancher vs Rocker - Dress to show your favorite music genre.

    • Tuesday 9/28 - Oregon Trail vs Space Cowboy - Wear a blast from the past or show ua a peak at what future styles are heading our way.

    • Wednesday 9/29 - Color vs Color - Wear your class color!

      • Freshmen: Light Gray

      • Sophomores: Neon Green

      • Juniors: Burnt Orange

      • Seniors: Black

    • Thursday 9/30 - Country vs Country Club: Wranglers and work boots vs polos and preppy vibes - which are you?

    • Friday 10/1 - Us vs Them - Come as a SUPER FAN for BHRA.  Wear your uniforms or BHRA gear!

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).

  • Seniors that missed the class meeting this morning can stop in the office and pick up a packet.  More information will be emailed out to parents/students soon.

  • Sophomores – if you ordered a class color shirt for Homecoming week you can pick it up in Mrs. Stephens’ office.

  • Student council will have a meeting today in advisory.  Everyone needs to attend.  We will be going over schedules and job assignments for homecoming week.

  • Tickets for the homecoming dance will go on sale beginning Thursday during lunch.  Tickets are $10. Court members need to pick up a ticket, but your ticket is free.

  • If you have not accepted the invite and added yourself to the Senior google classroom Mrs. Post will be re-sending the invite to you today, PLEASE open this and accept the invite to be added. This is where you will be finding any and all things “senior year” so it’s very important for you to be in this class.

  • See You at the Pole is Wednesday, Sept 22nd @ 7:30 am in front of the school.

  • Student Council is seeking parade entries for this year’s Homecoming celebration.  The parade will begin at 5pm on Friday, October 1st.  Contact Kami Russell if you would like to be a part of the celebration.

  • YES!  You can bring dates to Homecoming that do not go to BHRA.  They must at least be in high school, but cannot be older than 20. If you are bringing a date that doesn’t go here, you must have the date request form filled out and turned in by Monday, 9/27.  You can find the form here: https://5il.co/yt4c.  There are paper forms on the table outside the office.

  • The volleyball team has opened up a fancloth website! Here is the link to check it out: https://fancloth.shop/KLLYE There is something for everyone. The shop closes on 9/23 @ midnight!

  • Picture Day retakes are scheduled for 10/18/21.  Order your pictures online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry.  BHRA’s Order Code is 59137WF.

Additional Information:

  • Students may not attend school if they are experiencing any of the potential COVID-19 symptoms:  Fever of 100.4 or higher, NEW ONSET of a moderate or severe headache, shortness of breath, NEW cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, NEW loss of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, and muscle or body aches from unknown cause.  If the student or someone in their household is waiting on COVID-19 test results, please do NOT send them to school until results come back negative.

  • We have extra Chromebook styluses and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $25.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.

  • Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 13th, beginning at 8:20 am.

  • Junior/Senior College visits - be sure to check in with your advisory period teacher before attending.  Unless otherwise noted, all college visits are held in the counseling lobby.
