Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School Daily Announcements Tuesday, May 25th, 2021

Announcements:

  • Yes, there IS school on Thursday until 11:30.  YES, you are required to attend on Thursday.

  • Remote Learner Chromebook dropoff is Friday from 8am-1pm!  Make sure you bring your chargers and styluses.

  • Please make sure all lockers are cleaned out before you leave for the summer.

  • Any current member of the student council may petition to be added to the ballot to serve as an officer for next year.  Send me an email with the office that you would like to run for and a few sentences as to why you believe that you would do a good job as an officer by Wednesday, May 26.  The current members will vote for the officers on Thursday, May 27. The available offices include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian. Here is a brief description of the duties for each office. 

    • Please see Mrs. Russell if you have any questions.  

    • Remember: you only have 2 days to put your name in for an officer position.

  • Chromebook returns on Wednesday 5/26 during 8th hour with your 8th hour classroom teacher.  College Express students, turn your Chromebook in after your 4th hour class on Wednesday 5/26 to Mr. Benjamin.  Your Chromebook, stylus and charger all need to be turned in.  You will be charged $30 for missing styluses, $25 for missing chargers, and $100 for screen damage.  You will get the same Chromebook back next school year.

  • BHRA Blue Devils Youth Basketball camp is June 14th-18th.  Open to all students entering grade 3 to entering high school freshman.  More information and registration slip here: https://5il.co/sun8

  • BHRA Blue Devils Youth Football camp is July 19th-22nd.  More information can be found here: https://5il.co/srue

  • If you have borrowed a chromebook from the library, please return those asap.

  • All library books are due back asap.

  • Sports Physicals by Carle - Mark your calendars for May 27th

    • Incoming 5th-12th graders welcome.  

    • Incoming 6th & 9th graders -- this clinic will not satisfy the requirement for a school physical.

    • There are several spots where parents need to fill out and sign.  Please check the form thoroughly as this needs to be completed and brought with the student to the clinic.  (Sports Physical Form) 

    • Cost is $15.  Checks made out to Carle
