Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School Daily Announcements Friday, April 16th, 2021

Announcements:

  • BHRA had a great track meet @ Watseka last night.  First place finishes included: Gabby Moreman, Alexa Ball, Vivi Ruffo, Rylee Dubois, Eli Mojonnier, Isaiah Tidwell, Josh Gernand, Spencer Wall and Emerson Thorlton.  Emerson Thorlton had a PR in the 1600.  Practice tonight from 2:15-3:45.

  • BHRA soccer won over GRF/Westville last night.  Goals were made by Elijah Tidwell with an assist by Keanu King and a goal by Keanu King.  Garett Huls had 4 saves for BHRA.  Great job!  BHRA concludes the season with a 9-3-1 record.

  • Wrestling practice starts on Monday!  Mr. Head is looking forward to seeing everyone there.  There are two practice times 2:30-3:30 and 3:45-4:45. 

  • As it’s getting warmer -- just a reminder.  The dress code will be enforced.  As a reminder - no belly shirts, no tank tops, and shorts must be fingertip length.

  • Devilette Tryouts for the 2021-22 school year are Tuesday, April 27th from 5pm-7pm, Wednesday April 28th from 5pm-6pm and Saturday May 1st from 9am-11am.  Please see the office for packets or these links:

  • Cheer Tryouts for the 2021-22 school year are Wednesday, May 5th & Thursday, May 6th from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, May 8th from 10am-12pm.  Packets are on the table outside the office or you can print from the link below.

  • Sports Physicals by Carle - Mark your calendars for May 27th

    • Incoming 5th-12th graders welcome.  

    • Incoming 6th & 9th graders -- this clinic will not satisfy the requirement for a school physical.

    • There are several spots where parents need to fill out and sign.  Please check the form thoroughly as this needs to be completed and brought with the student to the clinic.  (Sports Physical Form) 

    • Cost is $15.  Checks made out to Carle

  • DACC has an option for high school students to earn their CNA this summer.  Classes will be at DACC Hoopeston and there are only 8 spots available.  See Mrs. Stephens asap if you’re interested in this opportunity.
