Advisory Period Meetings (Be sure to check in with your advisory period teacher before going to these meetings).

  • Patriot Day at BHRA Shirts are ON SALE NOW!  Proceeds from Patriot Day (September 8th) 

  • Please dismiss the JV & Varsity Golf Team at 2pm for their match against GCMS.

  • Senior meeting on August 30th from 7:30-8:15 regarding cap & gowns and announcements.  Plan to be here!

  • Sophomore class meeting during the advisory period on August 30th.  Jostens will be here to meet you about class rings & letterman jackets.

  • College Express courses will begin on Monday, August 21st. Students should all meet on the first day in Mary Miller Gym for an orientation at 12:30 PM (students can park in the North parking lot to the left as soon as they enter DACC main entrance). They will then be shown to their classes. All classes meet Monday-Friday from 12:30-2:00 PM. 

  • Students - if you would like to earn volunteer hours at the 3rd Annual Chris Oberheim Memorial Softball Game on August 19th, sign up here - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4DA9A72EABFCC34-3rdannual 

  • The Blue Devil Booster Club needs you!  The Blue Devil Booster Club supports athletics & activities throughout BHRA.  Their fundraiser is the football concession stand!  We need help rebuilding!  Reach out to Mr. Foster (tfoster@bismarck.k12.il.us) if you are interested in being on the board, being in the committee, or even just helping in the concession stand (we always need this!)  The Booster Club pumps a lot of money back into our school, but they can’t do it without YOU! 

  • The volleyball team is looking for a manager or two.  Reach out to Coach Showers at ashowers@bismarck.k12.il.us if you are interested.

  • School Pictures will be Monday, August 21st.  You can go to https://inter-state.com/ and use BHRA’s order code 80126ZF to place your order.

  • Mrs. Frerichs is looking for some alternative seating for her classroom.  If you are cleaning out a room and looking to get rid of bean bags, gaming chairs, etc, please let her know.  She would love to have them!  lfrerichs@bismarck.k12.il.us

  • College Express Co-Op Students - The mandatory Co-Op Orientation for students will be Monday August 21st from 2:00 to 3:30 in Lincoln Hall Room 206. Make up day is Friday August 24th from 2:00-3:30.

  • If you are taking a Dual Enrollment class online through DACC you will meet in the library during that class period. If you are taking a class at DACC you are free to sign out after your last scheduled class at BHRA.

  • The Dates to Remember calendar is loaded into Google.  You can save time and add them to your calendar through this link:

  • Reminder!  If your student will not be attending school for the day, please make sure you call the office and let us know.  Please call us by 9am each day your student is absent.  You must call each day your student is absent.  (Students may not call themselves in, it must be a parent/guardian).  

  • Chromebook cases, styluses, and chargers for sale in the office.  Styluses are $30 and chargers are $35.  Cases are $20 new and $10 used.

  • Athletic Passes on sale now.  Individual $60 and Family $124 (includes all members of 1 household).  Send cash or check to Jenny with a list of all members in the household if purchasing a family pass.
