Christmas Program Update

Ms. Miller, our music teacher, has started working on the Christmas program. Speaking parts have been assigned, so please be on the lookout in your child’s folder for their script and costume assignments.  BHES is so excited for the performance directed by Ms. Miller.

Parent’s Club Update

A big THANK YOU to all!  Our fundraiser this year was a great success!  Our goal was to raise enough funds to purchase 30 ChromeBooks and a mobile charging cart for the BHES students & staff.  Because of all of your hard work, we were able to place that order this week! Thank you all so much for helping us reach our goal!  Check out the BHES facebook group at

BHES Parent's Club Public Group | Facebook BHES Parent's Club has 283 members. Welcome! We are excited to have you!!! Without Parent's there is no Club!! The BHES Parent's Club exists to present...

.  It's a great place to connect.  Also, keep sending in those BoxTops and Tyson Rewards.  You can send them in anytime!

Lunch Money

Parents, Please take note of your student’s lunch account.  If the balance is in parentheses ( ), that means you owe that amount.  If your student is on either FREE or REDUCED lunches, they are NOT to charge more than $2.00.  If they are on REGULAR Pay lunches, they are not to charge over $10.00. If your student is on FREE lunches, they receive 1 (ONE) milk with their HOT lunch.  If they get an extra milk, or get a milk with a SACK lunch, the cost for those are $0.30 and are the parent’s responsibility. The EXTRA milks are NOT covered by the State.

Morning Drop Off

Please be aware of the time that you are dropping your students off at the school.  There are times that our Office Staff might be in meetings and unavailable to unlock the door. As the weather gets colder, we would hate for your students to have to stand out in the cold any longer than needed.  Students SHOULD NOT ARRIVE AT SCHOOL EARLIER THAN 7:50 AM!  We do not have staff on duty to watch your children until 7:50. Thank you for your cooperation.
