Mrs. Laci

I have been teaching special education for several years.  I truly enjoy my job.  I look forward to the progress I see the children making every day.  It is a joy to come to work each day!

I received my bachelor's degree from Eastern Oregon University and my master's degree from Olivet Nazarene University.  I went back to college when my daughter, who is our youngest, started first grade and graduated from EOU when my oldest son graduated from high school.

My husband and I enjoy our home in Hoopeston and our second home - a camper - at Wildwood Campground near LeRoy, IL.  My husband is a retired minister and now enjoys doing woodworking in his shop.  He is an online professor for Nazarene Bible College.  We have a Schnauzer - Heidi - who keeps us well-loved and entertained.

I have three grown children who do not live nearly close enough.  Merle, our son, Deonne, his wife, and our two grandchildren, Paige and Cole, live in LaGrande, Oregon.  David, our son, Cindy, his wife, and our granddaughter, Alyssa, live in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and Sarah, our daughter, lives in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

I believe I have an awesome responsibility to the children in my class to give them the information they need to live successfully in life.  I take that responsibility seriously.
