Festival of Trees
We will be collecting new and gently used stuffed animals, and new hats, gloves and scarves to help decorate the Teddy Bear Tree at this year’s Festival. All donations go to local charities. The school that collects the most items wins a 7 ft. decorated tree. We will be accepting donations until October 19th.
Parent Teacher Conference Sign Up
You may now sign up for October Parent Teacher Conferences on the District Website at www.bismarck.k12.il.us Click on the file tab across the top of the main page that says Parent Teacher Conferences.
Mobile Dentists
Smile Program- the Mobile Dentists are coming to Bismarck-Henning Elementary School on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. This is an easy way for your child to receive their dental screening, cleaning, sealants, and fluoride treatments at school! Children with Medicaid, KidCare or other insurances are welcome and encouraged to participate. Permission forms are coming home with your child today. If you are interested, please return the form to school as soon as possible. Dental Exams are required for students in Kindergarten, Grade 2 and Grade 6. The Mobile Dentists will also be at the Junior High on Oct. 27th.
Morning Arrival Time
Parents: Please note that students should not be in the building prior to 7:50.
Teachers are not in attendance and available for supervision until that time.
