OPEN HOUSE
Join us for OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, August 30th from 6:00-7:00.
The Parents Club will hold their first meeting in the cafeteria at 7:00. Please plan to join them.
A representative from Club’s Choice Fund Raising will be here with food samples of the products
that we will be selling during our fall fund raiser.
PARENT PORTAL INFORMATION
The District is in the process of changing to a new Student Information System. Shortly you will be receiving a welcome email from the new system that will give you a log in and password so that you will be able to view your students grades, lunch account balances and more.
LUNCH ON THE LAWN
Our first Lunch on the Lawn will be Friday, September 9th and will be held each Friday during the month of September. Parents and other special guests are invited to join their children on the lawn for a picnic lunch on any or all of those Fridays. Students may eat hot lunch as usual, and parents are to bring their own sack lunch. No fast food will be allowed. If your child is eating sack lunch that day, please send the lunch to school with your child (in case you are not here at the start of the lunch time). Adults should go directly to the back of the school on the grassy area and students will join them there. We will only have lunch on the lawn if weather is permitting. The Alert Now Notification System will call you by 10:00 if we know we will have to cancel. The lunch shift times are as follows:
11:00 – 11:30 1st & 2nd Grades
11:40 – 12:10 Kindergarten
12:20 – 12:50 3rd & 4th Grades and Mrs. Reining’s Class
REMINDERS
Student Drop Off: Students who are being dropped off at school should enter through the front door. Please do not enter through the east door; it is for bus drop off only. Students may enter the building no earlier than 7:50. Supervision of students begins at 7:50.
Dismissal: Students who change dismissal plans must have a note from the parent sent to school, or a phone call must be made to the school by 2:30. If you plan on picking your child up every day, and have not already done so, please send a note stating this. Likewise, if you have a regular schedule of picking a child up on certain days, but not others, you may send one note to that effect, and notify us of changes after that.
Clothes: If you have not already done so, please send a change of clothes in a bag with your child to be kept at school. We have many accidents at school including the lunch room and playground that sometimes necessitate a change of clothes.
