State Stimulus Money

This week the Commercial News posted a story on the amount of stimulus money received by the county schools. Bismarck-Henning was absent from that list and that omission has created a great deal of discussion. First of all, the CN did not call our school and I am quite sure they did not call the other county schools either. They took the financial information off the state web site. I would imagine that BH was omitted because the state lists us as Community Unit School District #1 and not Bismarck-Henning, so someone at the CN probably did not recognize us.
As stated earlier, BH is receiving ARRA money in the place of our regular state aid just like all of the other county and state schools.
